You can play with two to eight players, and the game is divided into two to four teams. Each team has a separate color of chips. The game board has an equal number of spaces, and each space is assigned to one player. The players choose a card from their hand and place a chip on the corresponding space on the board.
Although they are vital to the game, Jacks are not represented on the board. This is because they have powers for the game.
A two-eyed jack can represent any card, and may be used to place a chip on any open space on the board. A one-eyed jack can remove an opponent's token from a space. The players may use the two-eyed jacks to complete a row or block an opponent, and a one-eyed jack can remove an opponent's advantage.
